There are many opportunities
for excursions due to the fact that the Residence is located
very well within the area and this includes going on historical
and artistic tours of Spoleto, Assisi, Norcia, Todi, Cascia,
Narni and Orvieto. There are also many occasions for a
restoration of spirituality by going to visit the Franciscan
‘Spechi’ at St. Urbano, Monteluco, Greccio, San Pietro in
Valle Abbey and by visiting the ancient ruins of Carsulae.
Other
attractions of the area are the enchanting Lake Piediluco,
famous for international canoeing, the majestic drop of the
Marmore Waterfalls and the fascinating mountain-bike itineraries
in the heart of the Valnerina area.
